12 Bidders for Jewar Airport Link with Delhi – Mumbai Expressway

12 construction firms have submitted bids to construct the 30 km Jewar Airport Link to connect with the 1350 km Delhi – Mumbai Expressway (DME) project after the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) opened technical bids today.

This 6 lane access-controlled spur will connect the under construction Noida International Airport at Jewar with the 59 km DND – Sohna Spur, which is under construction by DRA Infracon through 3 packages.

The project includes a bridge over the Yamuna River and its alignment has an almost equal length in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

NHAI invited tenders for its construction in January 2022 through the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) with a Rs. 1533.34 crore estimate and 730 day (2 year) deadline.

Brief Scope: Construction of Greenfield Connectivity to Jewar International Airport from DND-Faridabad Ballabhagh Bypass KMP Link Spur to Delhi Mumbai Expressway on HAM under Bharatmala Pariyojana in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The bids have been sent for technical bid evaluation which can take a couple months to complete. When that is completed, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to reveal who’s the lowest bidder for annuity and most likely contractor.
