The bids have now been sent for technical bid evaluation which can take a couple months to complete. When that is done, the financial bids of the technically qualified bidders will be opened to reveal who’s the lowest bidder and most likely contractor for its construction.

Operations on Line-3 and Line-5 will also be supported via a new stabling yard at SIPCOT which is a part of Package C3-ECV-01 (Sholinganallur – SIPCOT 2).

Bids for Line-4’s Poonamallee Depot are planned to be opened tomorrow, so stay tuned for a list of its bidders! A list of all Phase 2 civil packages and their status can be viewed here.
