Indian government-owned IRCON International Ltd. on Friday evening emerged as the lowest bidder for the 82.15 km Delhi – Meerut RRTS Line‘s Package 19 involving 25kV AC overhead equipment (OHE) electrical supply works, after officials from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) opened financial bids submitted by different firms.
NCRTC invited bids in January from firms in 2 lots (sub-packages) – the first from Sarai Kale Khan to Duhai EPE and the second from Duhai EPE to Modipuram. During technical bid evaluation, Tata Project’s bid for Lot-1 and Linxon’s bid for Lot-2 were rejected and as such their financial (price) bids were not opened.
NCRTC’s estimate for both lots is unknown. I’ll add it in here when available.
